This may well be the most disturbing thing I’ve read this week. To think that people in Tanzania are killing albinos so that they can sell their body parts to witchdoctors! And the witchdoctors don’t use them for potions to heal illnesses; they use them for potions to make people wealthy.
I truly believe in respecting the beliefs of other people groups, but this is would be an example of a cultural practice that’s too much for me. I wish someone could just tell the people: “Enough! Enough with the superstition already! Such potions will make no one but the witchdoctor wealthy.”
